We booked Spagna Ave for our 6 ngts in Rome (Dec 23/Jan 24 period). We booked the accomodation 5 months in advance of our trip. However, just 2 weeks before our travel date, Spagna Av e-mailed us about some unexpected renovation works and thus changed our accomodation to their other chain accomomdation - Dulcis Inn. Dulcis Inn was perfect from a location perspective and was neat and tidy (but appeared to be cheper than Spagna Av). Given the late notice, we just accepted the change from Spagna Av to Ducis Inn. Whilst the location of Dulcis Inn was perfect, after a couple of days the bathrooms started to smell and this continued throughout the stay. Whilst the reception staff were friendly, one particular staff member was not always helpful with tourist questions. Overall I found our stay very average and the smelly bathrooms was off-putting. Thanks SG.

Very nice, modern and convenient
We really enjoyed our stay Spagna, the family room was just what we needed for all of us to stay in the same room. The room was clean and very comfortable. It is also convenient to the places that we wanted to visit. The only downside was cold showers - we had issues getting hot water for showers.

Great Location
We stayed in the annex - Trevi Contemporary Suites. Excellent location. Good clean room and comfortable Bed. John the sole staff member was very helpful and sorted out any issues we had. Rooms had air conditioning units however they are connected to the air conditioning units in other rooms so if one room changed the mode from cooling to heating the aircon did not work. We recommend a note be added to rooms so people understand this. Generally a great place and would stay here again

The property was centrally located. The trevi and Spanish steps are within walking distance, the property is located steps from taxi stands, the surroundings were well kept. We arrived and not able to speak the language our taxi driver called the front desk located on the upper floor Gabriele the operator came down immediately,got us situated complete the registration, helped us with our luggage to the room, the bathroom was located outside the room 2steps from the room, it needs some updating but it was very clean. We didnt have enough beds but we were only there overnight so we made it work. The property was very quiet, the staff was helpful, they store our luggage until it was time to leave. They setup a taxi to the airport and he was right on time. Overall my experience for a first timer is favorable and if i find myself on that side of town again i will check them out again. I was pleasantly surprised all the operators apoke fluent English which aided in our experience. Thanks Gabriele and your staff
