We stayed at the Palazzo Talia for one night at the end of our honeymoon travelling the Mediterranean. After a long few weeks we were exhausted, especially given the hot weather of bustling Rome. Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by the calming and professional staff who immediately made us feel at home. Which was exactly what we needed. Even within the hotel courtyard, the lively noises of Rome seemed to just fade away. The way the hotel is designed, decorated and restored is nothing short of jaw-dropping. You really feel like you’re stepping into another time. When we entered our room we were greeted with a honeymoon surprise, which just doubled down on the experience. We ate at the restaurant Tramae that evening, which was an absolute delight. The next day, we had a delicious breakfast, and were ready to explore some of Rome. We had an evening flight but the staff kindly let us lounge around to pass some time, which is also appreciated.

We had the most wonderful time at the Palazzo Talia, The staff are amazing . Shout out to Lulu who is beautiful kind engaging and warm. When we arrived she sent me a personal note with some macarons which was such an elegant touch AND they were pink. One night we came back at midnight and I really fancied a Spritz so I asked if the bar was open and MariaCarla went and asked the bar to make the drink and they not only brought the drink but also olives and nuts and crackers and she stayed and kept me company and we had an amazing conversation. Very intelligent, sensitive and at the same time professional staff The night manager was wonderful and told me that I can sit in the beautiful lobby and not worry about it being too late. The architecture and the interior design is truly Italian elegance. A combo of traditional building and modern carpets and furniture The most amazing thing is that it is 5 min from the Trevi Fountain and yet the moment you pass a threshold you feel like you are in an oasis Quiet cool fragrant In short a dream
