I loved the room it was spacious and clean, it also had its own private bathroom; I felt safe in the neighborhood and it was also close to the city center.
Good location near a supermarket, metro station and places to eat.
Room was just what we needed and our late check in was accomodated. Great whats app communication and everything we needed was provided.
We were always on the go as it was a really short trip so we only needed a place to sleep and freshen up. Overall it was a really good place to stay - quiet and very convenient location. As with almost all places in Rome, it is old but clean.
Isabel guest house was clean, organized, accessible, close to metro, bus stops, and close to touristic sites in Rome if you want to walk. I liked that each room has its own bathroom, and that the kitchen is shared so you can make coffee or a snack if you want. The staff is so nice and it was the exact stay that we needed. It’s very recommended! Thank you, Miereh
Lovely residential area with plenty of places to eat or drink nearby. Close to metro station. 20-25 minute stroll to the Colosseum with plenty of options for food and drink along the way. A little noisy at times, but expected for proximity to central rome. Loved that we could come and go as we pleased as we had some early morning and late at night trips booked and it was never an issue. Host was available whenever needed, but we felt as though it was just the right mix of being 'hands off' but with support if needed. Overall - a great little stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Staying at Isabel has been one of the most enjoyable stays for me. From the option of having someone pick us up and help us with late check in (Gracie Muna!!!) to the host giving us options around the area for good food that was actually the best food we had in Rome. The room was spacious and comfortable with our own bathroom. The shared space was quiet and comfortable. There are so many cafes and restaurants around to keep you busy for days. It’s a short walk to some amazing landmarks. I would absolutely stay here again without any doubts. I’m actually looking forward to it. Grazie mille for an amazing first experience in Rome!!!
Julia was so great! She gave suggestions, answered and questions, etc. The bed was very comfortable as well. Highly recommend!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Host was very nice and helpful. We had a quick and easy check-in and it was so easy to communicate with the host. She also sent me recommendations for restaurants, attractions,...
Room was clean and location is not super central but Rome is a big city so it was not very hard to explore.
The things that we did not like much was that it was a very tiny room and bed was not comfy. Also, we found it too expensive for what we got.
Close to transportation. Older building so some issues expected but Bathroom was full of mildew/mold but the musty smell remained.
They did offer to switch rooms but we had already scrubbed the shower so we stayed. Staff was nice and gentleman that checked us in was great.
The mattress was not awesome. The bathroom was pretty small. Shower was nice and hot. Nice and clean, overall. Initial communication was confusing and slow (Expedia issue?), but great once we started using WhatsApp. Shared kitchen only works when people are honest. Someone helped themselves to our drinks. Awesome access to Metro. Walkable to many Rome attractions. Lots of shops and good restaurants nearby.
The accommodation is really good in terms of location, about 500m from the S. Giovanni metro station on the red A line. Pretty much all sights can be reached with this line. The accommodation is located in a quieter side street in a quieter and save part of the city, with a commercial street that has all the usual shops, fast food outlets, finer restaurants and of course the typical café bars with delicious Italian coffee. The room was clean and functional with a double bed wardrobe and air conditioning. The clean shower and toilet have been around for several years. The shared kitchen is equipped with everything you need and you can easily eat with several people. I would particularly like to emphasize the competence, friendliness, patience and great willingness to help of the two guest house operators. This accommodation is highly recommended for a short break in Rome.
