Second time staying here still great

Excellent location with great restaurants and bars nearby. Clean and quiet nice size rooms with excellent staff. Just up the street from the Rome Opera House. Short walk to the train station. Convenient bus routes along Via Nazionale

The hotel is located very close walking distance to many of the sightseeing options in Rome. A very short 5-minute walk from the main train station. Front desk staff are great, and the A/C works quite well, which is vital during the summer months.

Hotel was only a 10 minute walk to train station. It was easy to get to other sites walking from the hotel. We had the twin rooms. The beds and pillows were not comfortable.

Photos of the hotel makes it look modern but not. Bed is hard and better off getting breakfast somewhere else. This is a hotel that tour agencies pick. Would not book again. The front desk people were great.

Hotel is old & dated but seemed ok when we first got there. Check in staff was fine. At 9pm, could hear music & street noise. Our room was VERY HOT. Tried & Tried to set the thermostat. It would start to go down then stop. Reset it several times. We were too exhausted to go to front desk. Reported it next morning at check out & got no apologies. Another person checking out had same experience with thermostat not cooling. They requested compensation & got nowhere with that.

Overall, a very nice property. Clean, ornate, superb staff. Just a few minutes walk to the main train station. Great local restaurants abound. However, condidering the extremely warm this summer, the management would have been wise to not turn off the A/C until the weather had cooled down. I almost had to leave because of a health condition. The staff provided a small fan, which sufficed. The complaints at the front desk were endless. I went down for breakfast at 1015 or so. The information sheet in the room breakfast was from 0700-1030. Sadly, as i tried to have my meal, I was met with locked doors, and told breakfast ended at 1000. I informed the front desk about the misinformation in the rooms, and was told that it would be corrected. For the price, with a few updates, and some TLC, this place could be a hidden gem! PS I highly recommend that Floriana, at the front desk be promoted and considered for management ASAP. Gratzi, JB Collins

Good hotel for short vacations/visits in Rome

Hotel is in good conditions and really enjoy stay there, room has everything you need, clean, functional and not complains. Metro location in the next corner, plenty of restaurant, stores, and very close to attractions.

This hotel is close to the Staz Termini and an easy walk to the Forum and most major sites. The staff was always available and helpful. We liked the older decor and large rooms.
