Basic room with en-suite bathroom. Beautiful and clean and Simone and Angela went above and beyond. Perfect place to rest our heads after a full day of sightseeing would definitely recommend if you’re not looking for anything fancy.

A pleasant surprise!

We had a wonderful stay at this little gem of a family run accommodation service. The hosts are warm an genuine without ever being intrusive. We judge the facilities and service level to surpass many 3-4 star hotels. The pricing, however is reasonable, so Ondina is simply fantastic value. The coffee machine in the room was highly appreciated :-)

Muito bom e com preços justos

A localização do Ondina é espetacular, poucos minutos andando você chega nos principais pontos turísticos de Roma, além disso tem uma estação de metro a poucos passos. Simoni que é o responsável facilitou muito nossa hospedagem, sua cordialidade e atenção surpreenderam. Importante, não se trata de um hotel convencional, está mais para uma pousada, mas nao se deixe assutar com este fato, vale muito a pena. Simoni I hope see you soon in Brazil! Grazie

Brilliant little apartment

Right a couple of things. It does tell you but its not very clear. Contact the Odina 48 hours before. When you get there its just 2 big wooden doors. You need to look for the odina which I think is 9 and buzz them. They will let you in and its on the 3rd floor. Some one will be there up to 6 o’clock. Right now that is out the way I have to say we had a fantastic stay. Simone and his mum are very friendly and can not do enough for you. The room is clean and tidy and it is a great location. Very close to Vatican which is about 20 mins walk and Spanish steps about 15 minutes walk. I would deffinatluy recomend this to anyone. 1 more thing again it does not make clear on this site there is a Italian tax of 3.50 euros per person per night it does tell you but you did have to search for it. This has to be paid on departure

Très bon endroit, accueillant et bien situé

Un hotel bien situé, proche du métro et des bus, non loin de la villa Borghese et à deux minutes de la piazza del Popolo. Chambre spatieuse et confortable, ménage tous les jours. Et le plus : des hotes très accueillants et arrangeants. Merci encore à Simone et Angela pour leur gentillesse !! Very well located place to stay in Roma, near bus stops and metro. You can walk easily to piazza del popolo or Villa Borghese. The room was nice and comfortable, cleaned everyday. What's more : Simone and Angela, the managers, were very kind and helpful. Thank you again from France !!

A Gem!

This is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel, which I LOVED. There are 5 clean and spacious rooms which means not a lot of foot traffic. Come here for a non-commercialized experience. 1) Transportation: ALL MAJOR SITES ARE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE from here. That was pinnacle for me as transportation can get pricey and take away from the exploring element. The most I’ve had to walk was 40 minutes (which doesn’t feel like much when you’re soaking in all the beautiful structures. If walking is not your thing, the metro and busses are 2 ½ blocks down, for 1.50€ single trip or 12€ for the week. There is a huge park 4-5 blocks away. 2) Food: There are LOADS of restaurants and lots of mini-markets to get snacks and beverages within a few blocks. 3) Hotel Facility: It’s not a 24/7 holiday inn type. It’s runned by a family and they’re present from the morning till afternoon, if anything were to occur, their phone numbers are on the desk.If you can’t dial internationally, download “What’s Ap” to make calls/text. Angela is there every day to handle the basic needs of the clients. She doesn’t speak English well so I suggest getting any key phrases down pact or bring something to translate for you. Simone, the manager was efficient in making sure everything was running smoothly. Room was spotless every day, sheets were changed every 3 days. As far as noise, we noticed the walls weren’t thick on the days we slept late or had little activity going on. Would come back!

Great room for a great price in a great location

Amazing stay. Had a couples city break and had a fantastic time. Hotel is amazingly located a 2minute walk from a main metro station and a lovely square (Piazza de Popolo I think) and is only 20 minute walk from the Capitol hill and a 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. The room was a great size and modern, and the hosts were fantastic. Angela and Simon always asked how our stay was, whether they could help booking anything and whether there was anything they could do. We were always plied with loads of lovely coffee too. All in all a great stay and the apartment building was easy to find and easy to get to.

Bellissimo!

Absolutely wonderful! Angela and her son Simone are excellent hosts; we truly felt like guests as opposed to simply customers. They were available and in contact throughout our stay and were genuinely very keen for us to have a happy, safe stay in Rome. The location is very central and close to everything! The Termini station and Spanish Steps are close-by and the beautiful Piazza del Popolo is right on the doorstep, at the end of the street. It made for a wonderful view from our balcony! Clean, comfortable rooms with air-conditioning - a blessed relief from the June heat! The building was very quiet at night, as was the street outside, it seemed. However, the balcony doors completely shut out both the heat and any noise. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation!

Excellent séjour!

Chambres toutes impeccables (la nôtre avec un petit balcon fleuri) très bien situées à deux pas de la Piazza del Popolo, du métro et permettant de se rendre à pied dans tout le centre de Rome. Hôtes charmants et prêts à nous aider pour toutes réservations, conseils, etc. Une vraie ambiance familiale. Nous le recommandons chaleureusement.
