This hotel has had a chequered past, furniture in the room was very rough and messed up, the shower lacked a cubicle door ,,,, but it was clean, new carpets, nice bedding, the lift worked and above all unbelievably cheap...; I got a twin room en suite with breakfast for £40!

The room had a dis-used smell on entry even with the window open it was also very warm (checked in at 2200) bedding was clean but with some sign of old stains, disappointing to find no hanging rail in the room and no where to hang clothes. Free self service continental breakfast and help your self coffee machine. Over all it was handy location and accepted pets.

"The small double room (322) we had has windows facing an inner yard where the large metal cooking vent/hoods are located. The room has no aircon and we were provided with 2 floor fans but in the heatwave they were hardly effective and the windows had no breeze. The bathroom is compact and only useable ..."
