「Everything was excellent」

「We stayed for 3 nights in March. The hotel is so unique and charming. We were worried it might be noisy as there was an event on but it was so quiet all night long! The vegan breakfast option was great and the staff were all so kind and offered a lot of travel tips for the area. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We had a car and would not say it’s very walkable to sites.」

「Hotel is situated in a historic neighborhood; interesting place to walk around. Room was lovely and provided everything we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent bar and restaurant offerings. Bedding and linens were high quality. However, the mattress was hard and irregular, very uncomfortable. Breakfast was relaxing and check out was easy. Would visit again. 」

「Lovely staff, very friendly. Room was far too hot and air con only blew out hot hair despite being on the cold setting. We were on the lower ground floor so we couldn’t open our windows properly without having the curtains open which meant people walking down the side street could see directly in to our room. One of the windows was locked too. Bar closed early and would only serve bottled wine or beer. 」

「The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes 」

「Lovely, spacious and clean room and easy to park at hotel. Staff were friendly and hardworking! We ate in the bar and would recommend it - in particular the steak pie was execellent. Great breakfast too - and a good choice! Look forward to staying next time we're in Aberdeen. 」
