"Loved The Gracie Suite!
We absolutely loved our stay at The Downtown Post in The Gracie Suite! From the moment we arrived, it felt comfortable, welcoming, and peaceful. The suite was beautifully done, very clean, and had so much charm and character.
It was one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Everything was thoughtfully put together, and we really appreciated the little details that made our stay extra enjoyable.

"The first unit I reserved had some issues - sliding door wouldn't open and logging into the TV, but the host moved us to another unit that was much better. We didn't know that places would be closed either due to it being off season or Easter weekend. We had to go into Banner Elk to eat and buy groceries. Just wanted to add that for people like us that don't travel to the mountains often. Overall we had a good trip, but I would stay in Banner Elk, Boone, or Blowing Rock next time."

We have been traveling 3 weeks and it ranks #1. It felt homey, had a split floor plan with two bathrooms, but most of all it comes with a washer and dryer and is a great location with parking. Outstanding.

This was the perfect location. Close to restaurants, shopping and the covered bridge. The room was big and comfortable and it felt more like an apartment rather than a "hotel" room. Check-in was so easy as was the access to our room and parking. We will absolutely be back again in the spring to visit our daughter at Milligan University.

Loved this place and it was a good price. We were close to the Blue Ridge Pkwy in a cabin near the small campground that was wooded and private with a porch. The cabin had great cable tv options and a warm, fireplace insert. Cabins were comfortable and clean (rustic with modern bedroom). The grounds of Springmaid Mountain are beautiful with ponds, mtn. stream and woods. Get good directions before you go as cell service is spotty and our GPS didn't list the road. I chose this hotel while interviewing at ETSU and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room clean, and the hotel quiet. We chose a room with a jacuzzi tub and it was a great way to relax after a long and exhausting day. The hotel is located close to many great restaurants and stores, so there are plenty of options to explore. The pillows were a little uncomfortable and I would recommend bringing your own, but otherwise a great stay!

I want to say that the person at the desk when we arrived was exceptionally helpful and went out of her way to help us. The other desk people were also very helpful, with written directions to where we wanted to go, as it was out first time in Tennessee.

Our stay for 2 nights was heaven. The beds were like sleeping on a marshmallow. Just the right softness and I had no problem sleeping that night. We found everything so clean and inviting. It was a little outdated. The couch was low and so was the chair. I am handicapped and I had to be helped off the couch. It was uncomfortable also. The bathroom needs some sort of heavy glass. Running to the kitchen for a glass is dumb. I had a handful of medication and needed a glass. To the kitchen for a...
