"It was a nice room - we needed the space traveling with children. My son was so disappointed by the arcade/play room - he was looking forward to being there but said it was horrible. Pool was nice. "We had a very pleasant stay at the Appalachian Hotel at Mountain Creek. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was also very clean, well maintained, and safe for children. There are two hot tubs next to the pool, as well as a sauna, which made the stay even more relaxing. Parking is free for hotel guests, which was very convenient. The only downside is that the nearby restaurants close quite early, and there are very limited late-night dinner options either inside the hotel or in the surrounding area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel, especially for families."

"This charming little motel is in a very convenient location and is extremely well maintained. Rates are reasonable, the room was spotless and the amenities were way beyond what I had a right to expect. I arrived very late in the evening and Melanie made it easy to check in quickly and was very kind and helpful. The property surrounding the motel is very pretty, too! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property."
