"The room was only cleaned every second day. At over $200 a night, I think it would be reasonable to have someone change the towels and vacuum the floor daily. Onthe secound day . On the way out we stopped by the front desk and asked for fresh towels to be placed in our room. When we returned, the towels hadn't been delivered, so we had to call the front desk again. I believe they only brought one set. That said, everyone we spoke with was very friendly, polite, and helpful, and we did eventually receive the towels. Although the question is whether I would stay here again or recommend this hotel to a friend, my answer is yes. Overall, we had a great stay. The staff was welcoming and courteous, and despite the housekeeping issue, we enjoyed our time at the hotel."

"Everything was fantastic. It was so close to the Avon theatre and the restaurant at the Windsor hotel right behind was great. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Had a great stay. Will stay again in the future. P.S. the “bust statue at the front to the right of the door can be spooky when coming in at night. Lol"

"We recently stayed at Puddicombe House and overall had a pleasant experience. The property has a lot of charm, with beautiful historic architecture and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it a nice place to relax. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and did their best to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, although there were a few areas that could benefit from some updates and maintenance. If you're expecting a modern luxury hotel, keep in mind that this is a historic inn with a unique character, which is part of its appeal. The restaurant offered good food and the presentation was excellent. Service was attentive, though during busy periods there can be a bit of a wait, so it's worth allowing extra time if you have plans afterward.
