However, upon checking into this hotel, the rooms were extremely old, the lighting was uncomfortable, giving the feeling of being in an operating room. The photos looked great, but the reality was vastly different, with worn-out sofas. Very disappointed. This hotel doesn't even come close to a 4-star standard, and staying here was very unpleasant. 「This was such. great stay at a lovely, charming, quirky and historic hotel. It is in the heart of things, and handy for all NOLA highlights, but is still quiet and peaceful. Beautiful architecture, meandering passageways and interior courtyard with fountain, and a real sense of history. The staff are all lovely and Perry was a blast on the front office. 「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside.
