「Excellent stay here! Specially the service from two gentlemen at front desk, they were being helpful and tried to book cab for us (finding cab is headache in Kyoto!), Also they were able to speak English! The hotel is clean generally, you get a free little complimentary snack box daily if you chose no house keeping service during your stay. Very convenient location from hotel to Gion Shijo where u get all the shopping & food and also easy to walk to Kiyomizu-Dera temple (10 mins walk)! Lovely...

「The hosts here are delightful. The place is lovely and traditional. Loved my evening private baths after long days of walking. My only comment is if you need the toilet during the night ask if there is a downstairs room as that’s where it’s located.」

「很棒的和式旅馆，房间很大，地下有大澡堂可以泡澡，就是房间没有热水壶，要到一层大堂打水，有点麻烦。交通非常方便，离锦市场很近，那边是很大一片商业街。酒店整体感觉很不错！」

「When me and my companion arrived Ohara bus station, we informed the minshuku and the staff arrived quickly and picked us up. He was very nice and explained to us what we could do around the small town. It was the season of firefly sighting so we decided to explore the town at night, he noticed that me and my companion was wearing short sleeves and quickly told us to wear a jacket to protect us from insect bites, he even lend us a torch as it was quite dark on the streets.
