"The pictures of the rooms presented on Expedia were nothing like the room I stayed in, seems to be a quite of a bait and switch. Mold in the shower on the tiles, rust on bathroom fixtures and the generally a very sad looking bathroom. Shower did work and bathroom sink was microscopically small. The bed was luckily comfortable. Hotel were in need of repairs, staff was nice upon arrival but did not try the restaurant. Luckily I just needed a bed and some sleep."

"Lovely character old stately home / converted hotel with grounds. Beautiful high ceiling rooms. Was lovely and peaceful when we were there but obviously sometimes there are weddings and functions. Staff were friendly & helpful. Exactly what we needed for a relaxing night away from the kids. Really enjoyed our stay and lovely breakfast. Even had a couple of complimentary drinks at the bar with vouchers from the room. Thank You for a lovely stay - will definitely be back."

"A clean and convenient hotel.The restaurant was fine. No refrigerator in room. Not sure what is typical for a London hotel."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful! We had supper at the pub downstairs a couple of times and our food was fantastic. The area was mostly quiet (the World Cup finals were on while we were there, so that was exciting) and an easy tune line to the big tourist attractions. Would definitely stay there again’"
