「I was attracted to the driveway and the room wallpaper when I researched on where to stay in North Yorkshire. I was happy with the room though the garden view was a stretch. We had a great dinner at Amber’s restaurant. The steak was decent though the pork loin was too tough. They did pretty mocktails and I was happy to try the sticky dare pudding ice cream. 「We where very happy with all facility. Overall the only problem we personally was the 3 steps going in and out of the property. The last step out is very steep and would have liked something to hold on too」

「Lovely room though we had a problem with a leak from the upstairs shower. It was quickly sorted by the hotel manager. The staff seemed really friendly. The hotels is a short walk to the centre of Harrogate and I would recommend」

Building itself has a real ambience of slightly faded glory which we found interesting and a nice change from modern hotels. However, we came in a heatwave and whilst the public rooms were cool enough, the bedroom was rather too warm and no obvious means to control the heat. Windows too heavy to open.n」

「We stayed here on Saturday 20th June. We checked in and noticed there was a wedding party in the function room. We asked reception to put us in a room where we would not be disturbed by the party as we were having an early night before leaving in the morning. The receptionist understood our request and said we would have a quiet room. The room we were actually given was directly above the smoking area at the front of the hotel.
