「The service made up for anything the motel itself packed.
Small extended stay motel, few services, and because I had booked online, the place was overbooked. Though, the service i was given made up for any technical issue that came up. They had been remodeling one of their longer term stay rooms that wasn't quite finished yet, so he asked if I'd be ok with it. The TV didn't work (I don't watch it) and I got to play with the AC a bit to get the compressor to kick on so it would cool off....

「There is never anyone at the desk when you walk in. You have to ring a bell to get someone. The associates are casually dressed so you don’t know if they work there. For the breakfast the coffee machine and the juice were broken. I went to use the coffee machine in the room and the back had all mold in it. I asked for another one and decided to run it with water before I made coffee and a bug came out: I would never stay at a quality in again. 」
