「A warm and welcoming hotel in an excellent location. The decor in the bar and restaurant was stylish and unique and our room was also full of character, spacious and clean.
Breakfast was superb! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was ample and free and convenient.

「We booked a night at this hotel with a spa. The hotel contacted Expedia to explain the spa was under renovations and out of use.
Expedia did not give me the message.
The sole reason for booking this hotel was because of the spa.
Expedia failed in passing on the information.
The hotel upgraded us and did everything they could to make the stay very enjoyable but Expedia let me down and I would like a refund from Expedia」

「Parking wasn't too bad in the Saxon Car park, however managing parking for the duration a bit of a faff to juggle without having to top up in the early hours.
WiFi was disappointing especially with the cost of a very basic room. You'd expect it to be free as with many other locations.
Even though you pay for it, it's very weak, which was a real pain as it kept dropping and you had to keep signing back in.」
