「Great house services as the owner was very nice and generous during our stay. Rooms were tidy, but wish there was a separate toilet on the top floor and the wood floor was a bit noisey whenever people walk...」

「Overall enjoyable stay marred by missing towel rack, poor breakfast and staff attitude. Only white bread available and very limited breakfast choices. Lake views and walks make up for the negatives. 」

「Wonderful location, excellent breakfast, super comfortable beds, unique stay」

「Overall good experience but kitchen not full enough, only provide tea bag & instant coffee and the kettle is very dirty!」

Gavin, the owner, was incredibly accommodating, and we were lucky enough to receive a room upgrade. The room was excellent, the bed was sooo comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely and clean. The ambience and aesthetics of this beautiful old building are fantastic, and Gavin deserves 5 stars for all the hard work he has put into restoring it while adding modern upgrades without...
