Can park outside your room if you get in early. Dinner at the tavern was good and right there. Room is not very sound proof so you hear everything going on outside.

Insufficient parking for hotel guests due to a packed dinning area. We had to park our car a distance away from our room and move it next morning to pack car on checkout. Check service was not particularly friendly, however bar staff were great.

Friday nightcap.

The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfy. We thought it was a bit odd to find a toaster but no knife or plates. We bought our cereal with us but had no bowl or spoon to eat it with. Other than that, it was fine.

I ordered room service for breakfast both mornings I was staying here and for this I selected (the night before) scrambles eggs, bacon, bake beans on toast. I found out the first morning on delivery of breakfast that they didn't have any bake beans. I had dinner at the hotel and on the first night the meal was presented very messily, and my drink was forgotten until I prompted the staff.

Nightcap at Riverside is an older property and looks a bit like it from the outside but inside the rooms have been done up and the bathrooms are really great

The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff were nice. We had a lack of sleep due to barking dogs and drunken patrons arguing outside our room each night.Also parking was at a premium. Could not park near our room. It's a case of first in best dressed.

Room was fine and no issues with our stay. But I was shocked to find the check in desk was literally squeezed in between the (crowded) bar and the gaming area. I was glad my son didn’t accompany me in as I didn’t feel it was family friendly at all. Very odd set up. Poker machines just a metre away from where I was getting my room key. The lights and noise were off putting. But the one night we had there was fine apart from a bit of highway noise.

Parking is limited close to the room unless you are there early. We had to park our car a little distance away which we weren't happy about. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean with everything you could need.
