"This was an extremely nice property, except for some minor inconveniences. A bunch of local kids and their families were staying at the exact same time and the staff did very little to stop the kids for running all over the halls, knocking on doors and running away at 10 pm. The pool, which is the whole reason we booked this location was closed. It did end up opening, but only for an hour and a half. The website says it’s open till nine however, they close it at eight on a Saturday. We also requested extra towels which the staff was too busy to get us at the time, but said they would have somebody deliver them to our room which they never did. the bathrooms doors don’t have locks and have sliding barn doors with toilets that sit very close to the ground. Our shower didn’t drain very fast and the whole bottom of it had a bow so once you started to use any soapy products, it made it very hard unless you were standing sideways. All in all the hotel could be a great place, but there were definitely inconveniences."
"Just wow. Only stayed for the ONE night and we were better off sleeping on the side of the road than burn $150 for room that had beds less comfortable than concrete; Stained bedding so untrustworthy, we slept in sleeping bags; hot water just did not exist for us and the water in general was very suspect, just like the slimy bathroom knob. Wifi was so spotty that it was not even worth using, if all of that wasn’t enough, we didn’t feel safe either! Deadbolt didn’t function and a chain was so flimsy, a child could break it, and having another guest(?) stare at us anytime we were out oft the room didn’t fill us confidence either.
For your own sake, Save the money and find something else"
"I was traveling for business and looking for a stop for the night. The lodge was reasonably priced (it is the off season). The room was clean and quiet. Check in was across the street at the spa. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. It’s probably a really fun place to stay during the summer season."
