Nice property in a recently-developed suburb with many hotel, dining and shopping options. Spacious, well-maintained room, friendly and efficient staff. A little tricky to find the front entrance as the property is behind another building, but our GPS got us there without a problem.

It was raining hard when we arrived after a long day of driving. We stepped into a little oasis with a fireplace going and a warm smile from the front desk clerk. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed.

My Stay at HGI Rapid City was great! This hotel was recommended to me by locals and it did not disappoint. The hotel lobby all the way to my room was was clean and inviting. The location was great and staff was helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel to stay at. Restaurant and bar were nice and staff was pleasant. The only complaint was the bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets were old.

Really decent hotel, musty room however.

Very nice hotel, great service, but the room was musty smelling. It was large however with high ceilings on the first floor. Breakfast was good, standard scrambled eggs, etc. Safe neighborhood. Would stay here again. The check-in employees were friendly and very helpful.

Hotel was nice. The only real issue we had was that the door to our room would not lock on its own, even with the door shut. We had to lift the door and pull it closed, to get the door to latch closed

Very clean great hotel. The only thing that didn’t work was the hot tub jets. Turning the timer on the wall did not activate the jets. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

We were on a Gate 1 tour. The breakfast buffet was not good. Same food 3 days in a row. 2 days they ran out of most items before everyone got to eat. Did eat in the restaurant the night before the tour began and it took almost 2 hours after we ordered to get our food. Problem was 1 person was bar tending and waiting tables for 40-50 people. This is not what we expect from Hilton.
