「A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again.」

「Still the best place to stay in Poole. Shower was awesome, enough room to get a rugby union team in!!! Great location near the restaurants on the Quay and a ten minute walk from the train station. Deluxe Room was very spacious and had an iron bath in the corner!! However, mattress was too soft and the pillows too 'fluffy'. Just a personal note, but we needed hard mattresses and 'dull' pillows. Breakfast is over-priced (plenty of coffee shops/delicatessens in Poole), but if you need to eat one,...

「Absolutely awful. Dont care how desperate you are, DONT BOOK HERE! Seaguls nesting outside your security locked window (you can open the window two inches). The smell coming from the outside of the room from bird mess was over powering. If your on the second floor the heat in the room unbearable. The 2 inch dust on the curtains and the black dots throughout the bedding, makes you sleep with your clothes on. Ive requested a refund, but it takes 10days for someone to get back to you. 「Great reception and sorted parking. Room was very smelly like old sweat. Sheets were clean and tidy but the carpet need changing it in a manky state. Bathroom clean and tidy but vinyl needs changing as it doesn't fit properly. Good enough for me to lay my head but I was out of there early as I was not going to be hanging around in that room.」

「Bit of an issue getting into the property as we arrived quite late but thought the pub would still be open. Sorted out quickly without a problem though. Room was really good, comfortable, clean with all we needed for a good night's sleep. Owner seems to have considered what was required really well. Breakfast was excellent & catered for all tastes. Staff friendly & helpful. Would stay again.」

「You have to pay for internet in room, I was lucky they upgraded me , but my so called internet room is just a room happen to receive signal from the lobby. The staffs are great and kind, room is old. Carpark is 5 pound per night, walk 10 Mins to town 15 mins to pier and beach. Check in time is crazy 4pm and check out time is 10am , late check out at 11am is 10 pounds extra. Personally I can't stand of it, but didn't know until I got there. 」
