「This was my second stay at this hotel and I did notice some changes, some good, some not. My room looked refreshed, but it had no wall decor and seemed unfinished, but immaculately clean. There was nowhere comfortable to sit, but the bed was extremely good to sleep on. The outbuilding in which my room was situated had a large foyer, strangely decorated with two hard chairs and an ironing board. My room heater wouldn't turn on, and the receptionist told me it was centrally controlled and would...

We went for long walks around the fields, ate amazing food in the restaurant at the property, swam in a swimming pool, and enjoyed the area around. Definitely recommend to visit! 「Richard is a wonderful and generous host full of gentle attentions. His Grosvenor Villa has a great history that you will start discovering as soon as you enter the magnificent lobby. A nice 20 minutes walk to reach downtown Bath, it’s a central point to discover Stonehenge, Bristol, Cardiff and the charming villages of the Cotswold. We highly recommend it and we would we would return with so much pleasure!」

「A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.」
