"I loved my stay at the Oakmoon. I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything. "This is a nice beachside property, with excellent views either of the ocean or the sound side (ours was ocean, but we sat on the outdoor patio on the sound side a bunch too). Beyond the obvious excellent proximity to the sand, the real winner here is the people running the on-site restaurant - they really just could not be nicer and more accommodating."
