Great place to stay in Faro

I really enjoyed staying at Happy House. It's really handy to have the communal kitchen. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were super helpful and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great staff, Luana was the best host you could find. When taxi never came to take me to bus station, she called a friend who took me there and would not except any payment. Wonderful breakfast included. Would recommend it to anyone.

Room is small but it did the job, bed sheets not the most comfortable but mattress good, shower nice and very clean. Faro is small so it’s within 5 minutes to everything. WiFi and tea available for free. Staff were lovely, when we got locked out at 2am she came with no complaint to come and let us in.

Everything about the place was great from the location to the size of my small single room to the teas/coffees/yummy biscuits in the kitchen area. The sweet receptionist made it even better.

We loved the location of the Happy House; it’s tucked away close to the center of the old town. Olga was very helpful by calling a taxi for us , to leave at 4;30. In the morning. It’s an ideal place for the active tourist. It’s small But has it all.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Happy House Faro recently. The location was excellent for everything we needed, and the hotel itself was super clean, very comfortable and inviting, and felt very safe. It had such a home from home feeling with it's friendly staff and thoughtful touches like a kitchen area to make hot drinks and biscuits. The outdoor terrace was also a beautiful place to sit any time of day and relax. We loved everything about this place and would happily recommend to anyone staying in Faro. You will not be disappointed! The value of this place is outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Central, modern, small hotel

We have stayed at this lovely little place before and gave it a 5-star review. This time was slightly more disappointing but only for one reason. The room was on the 2nd floor and had twin beds with an ensuite shower room. There were clean towels along with soap and shampoo. The air conditioning was very effective. However, there was an odour in the room as if someone had smoked in it. The location is very central and just a few minutes walk from the marina and plenty of local restaurants.

Decent facility well located

A tiny bit sparse. Comfortable beds. Acceptable shower pressure and flow. Towels adequate. Linens adequate. Windows opened easily. Wifi adequate. TV included english channels. We chose to leave windows open to minimize use of AC... Mistake!!! Noisy neighbours!!! Closed window to resolve noise issue. Use of kitchen on same floor was a big bonus. Pingo Doce grocery store (with cafe) located 7 minutes easy walk away. Guesthouse was very difficult to find when initially walking from bus station due to lack of street signage. Easy check in.
