「Its a great experience living in the barrel. Every customer staying there include one wine tasting tour, understand more about Port wine. However, moving there or other spots might possibly need to drive. No public transport reaching the area.」

「It’s located in the mountain side, breakfast with cold cut, eggs and bacon with the valley view. Staffs were nice and helpful. Recommend to all travellers who plan for Douro area.」

「Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. 」

「We really enjoyed our stay. Francisco was the best -very friendly, great service, and fantastic recommendations for dinner, boat tour, and other quintas to visit. It was nice to meet the owners as well and talk with them about the harvest season. Will definitely recommend and will come back the next time we’re in the Douro.」

「This was the most amazing property. Beautiful decor and upkeep, incredible view of the valley. Centrally located would definitely stay here again on future visits to Douro Valley. I don’t know, but whatever.」

「Eine sehr besondere Unterkunft in liebevoller Hand. Ich habe mich direkt willkommen und sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Hausherrin ist sehr nett und für Alles ansprechbar. Sie gibt Tipps, hilft bei der Tagesplanung. Die Verständigung klappt auf Englisch. Der Blick aus meinem Zimmer (2. OG) und von der Frühstücks-Terrasse ging bis auf die Nossa Senhora dos Remédios/über den Ort. Zentrumsnah, kostenloses Parken nach 19: 00 h und auf großem Parplatz in der Nähe. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar.」

「The staff was amazing and the facility was spacious and clean anywhere we went. There were great spaces to releax by the pool, enjoy breakfast, and sun. The staff was extremely helpful and offered to book a win tasting tour nearby which was such a pleasant experience. I would come back to stay if I were in the area.」
