"The Manila hotel is an icon in the Philippines. Presidents and diplomats stay there and MacArthur is a famous tenant. So much history and they have a museum, original art, Nara furniture, luxury chandeliers. I love that all the employees wear traditional Filipino dressings. The bed mattresses are top notch firm. It’s walkable to Rizal Park and the National Museums. Intramuros is a car ride away. Mall of Asia is also a car ride away. We had a very nice productive stay for just 2 nights. And the breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent."
"I recently stayed at the Rizal Park Hotel in Manila with my mom and her friends. The location is fantastic, right next to Rizal Park and close to Intramuros. The property has a beautiful colonial style with grand entrances and spacious areas. The swimming pool offers a nice view of the harbor.
Rooms are comfortable but a bit run down, and the staff is very friendly.
The food is good, though the selection is somewhat limited. Overall, it's a great spot for a short stay in Manila if you appreciate historical charm and a prime location.
