「Stunning! We stayed in the 2 bed suite is the Casio de campo building…it was like staying in a millionaire decorators apartment!! Huge patio to a stunning view of the mountains/vineyards. Wanted to cancel the rest of our trip and stay there. Breakfast was wonderful. Wine tasting unparalleled!」

「This trip just keeps getting better and better! This is NOT a hotel. It is more a resort guest house. Complete luxury with a setting in the hill/mountains of the Douro valley that is right out of movie setting. Friendly helpful staff always eager to help. The room was luxurious, the included breakfast was just out of this world. Off season prices made this incredible place even better! The only reason I gave it 5 starts was because 6-7-8 were not available!」

「The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! 」

「Beautiful historic manor house that was tastefully decorated. Excellent value for money comfortable stay. Friendly staff. It's a privilege to have access to this beautiful historic home. Although it was old, it had a fresh interior & was in very good condition. Our bedroom was large, we had a very comfortable bed and lovely spacious ensuite bathroom. 「The city of Armamar is quite sleepy and small. For us, this location was wonderfully convenient for the wineries we were visiting. But if you are hoping to walk around at night for night life, this may not be the town for you. The PINTA boutique hotel was beautifully decorated and in great condition. The staff was also communicative, and there is a small but convenient free parking light just behind the property. My husband actually took a job interview (via Zoom) from the common area/breakfast...
