"The staff at the hotel were excellent, particularly the receptionist. There was an issue with the bathroom light, and she and her staff went the extra mile to sort it. Room 17 is not ideal for use as a double room. The walls painting had been started then left! There is a health and safety issue with a shelf protuberance at the foot of the bed, projecting from a mirror, which means that one has to be a contortionist to pass it. The hotel is not suitable for disabled or infirm clients because there are many stairs to ascend and descend. There are stairs in the dining room which must be climbed to reach the breakfast buffet, not easy to negotiate with a walking stick, balancing a tray with breakfast items on. However, the staff did offer help"

"Great location - very convenient for train station, and fantastic that dogs are allowed to stay, though no extras thrown in for them. No air conditioning though so room was very hot, even though an electric fan was provided."

"We got the largest room they had. It was literally an apartment across the street on the basement level. Right outside the bedroom was a walkway/pedestrian route and people walked by all day and all night. Definitely wouldn't recommend that room even though it was extremely spacious. The people working the hotel were friendly."
