"I stayed here for 8 days and it was such a pleasant experience. Meander 1948 was kind enough to offer a free guided tour with one of their amazing employees PJ (keep in mind to pay for your own transportation fares and meals expenses which is roughly under $500 TWD equivalent to just about $16 USD) along with the hotel company treating to a delicious fun dessert snack at the end of the tour. It all depends how much you want to drop as well, this is just a guesstimate combining expenditures for the day. The 8 bed dorm room was super comfortable. The lounging area is very peaceful and tranquil. You meet such cool amazing people in there that are traveling or studying abroad. It’s central to lots of fun and local spots. One of the night markets (Ningxia) is about a 10 min walk. The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) is only a block or two away from the hostel. It’s just such a great location and super affordable. Highly recommended as a solo traveler. The Meander staff is super helpful and will provide any information to help in any way possible. Thanks Meander 1948. "Friendly staffs, room was clean and the cleaning ladies were very nice. We like the hotel location, it’s very convenient. This is the fourth times I stayed at Miramar Garden and will continue staying here next time we’re in Taipei. "

"Great location, clean room, friendly staff. You can spend the whole day in the mall next door, and never see the blazing sun between Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan Station just by traversing the underground malls. If I had to say anything, it's that the room itself is a bit dark, and has enough mirrors to make a mirror maze. Otherwise, great place to stay! "

"The room was clean and nice, it had everything I needed. I was able to check in early when I came at 2pm Even though their check in time is 5pm. The staffs were really friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient for us to get everywhere we wanted to go, close to the Taipei Main Station which really great. "
