"The room was very nice, although, because of the fireplace, it smelled of wood smoke. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and we really appreciated the towel warmer. We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony, even in the pouring rain. I took the forest walk - how special to tromp through th “jungle” on a well maintained trail."

"Perfect for our stay at Volcano, thank you for upgrading us to a king room, it was comfortable, spacious and quiet. The contactless check in was easy, just pick up and envelope from the lobby with your room key and instructions. The help yourself towels, coffees and toiletries was a very nice touch. Overall we were delighted with our stay in Volcano and wouldnt hesitate to recommend."

"Awesome place! The bunks are comfortable and one of the best hostel ones Ive seen anywhere. But the rooms are usually 6 beds per room but the rooms are very large.
Location: amazing, downtown (main area lol, Hilo is a small town!)
Parking is free nearby at a 3 min walk.

"What an amazing experience to have a beautiful little cottage, nestled in the rainforest area with a beautiful waterfall looking right out. Your door via accommodations were wonderful, Axel the owner was just a delight if you ever want an off the beaten path, but not that far away from Hilo beautiful experience where you could swim and experience your own private waterfall. I highly recommend it. "
