Location great. Clean room but carpet stains everywhere. Bathroom sink meant for a 6 ft person. Needs updates. Not worth almost $200/night.
We had the upstairs unit, which is very roomy and comfortable. There are two king-size beds, a kitchenette, a cozy seating area around the TV and a dining area with a table and 4 chairs. The setting was tranquil, with a vaulted ceiling and windows looking out onto lush vegetation. I wish we could have stayed longer!
Excellent stay!! We had everything we needed and were very close to Volcanoes National Park!!

The property is very conviently located for the National Park; it's also very quiet and good value. However, the property really needs updating (and some minor repairs--like faucets that don't leak when you use them).
Super charming lodge, well stocked, quiet, and a 2 minute drive to Volcano House, perfect location. Even the neighbors are nice, loved staying here, felt very safe and surrounded by nature, beautiful area!
Our room was clean and comfortable. Great access to the park.

This is as it is billed, a simple, clean place to spend the night. The rooms have a microwave and refrigerator but no thermostats so you adjust temperature with opening window or plugging in space heater. I would stay here again. I have never seen such clean windows!!

Very convenient location, couldn’t be closer to the park. The check in process went well. But there were multiple small annoyances: the room was musty, the carpet was old and looked dirty, there were ants in the bathroom, and the fridge was so loud I couldn’t use it at night, which defeats the purpose. Overall an okay experience.
I’ll try to be gracious and say that the room itself was clean and I understand that we came at a time where there was a severe storm going on, which is why there was no power or water. Since it is self check in, there was nobody we could talk to on site. I went into our room through a I called the number that was provided to ask about the power/water and the person who answered was not very pleasant. The lodge itself is a hit bit creepy and not having power made it darker and creepier.
This location was excellent as we had family camping at the park and we wanted to be close! Very clean, quiet, comfortable bed and easy check-in. Great alternative to camping!
We stayed here while visiting Volcanoes NP. It was quiet and easy to get to and check in and out was convenient.

Quiet Stay Close to the National Park
Check in was extremely easy to navigate. No host on site and the hotel is fairly isolated but it made for a quiet stay. Very close to Volcano National Park.
