"Not enough towels or toiletaries. The AC did not work properly (it was right above the bed and blew cold air right at it and could not be changed. It was too high to do it by hand). Not enough power outlets. Lastly probably because of the island infrastructure the water smelled and tasted weird while brushing teeth. "

"It was very convenient since the property is near plenty of restaurants and diving centers. And the ocean view from the place is so beautiful. Only disadvantage is that the walls were so thin. So, be prepared to hear the wave sounds all night, roosters crowing all morning."

"The property is in dire state with room and amenities poorly managed and maintained. The pictures from the website are probably from the pre-pandemic era and no longer reflects the true current state. Checked in with a broken toilet that was fixed the following day. Only few staffs who works very hard at the entire property, so expects very slow service. Even with great price, I wouldn't stay here because the property lacks the very basic functions and things that are in proper working...

"I have seen some not so great reviews for this place elsewhere and i find them unfair. This place has only been open for 2 months and i think they are on track to be a super success. Rooms are comfortable and the host are WONDERFUL. Some people have complained about proximity to other things ...this place is a bit by itself but penida doesnt really have a booming town anywhere so i dont think its location matters, plus you will likely be renting a scooter once on the island anyway...apit handles...
