8/10 Good

The property is just as described... four cozy A-Frames (5th being built), owned and operated by a very lovely family.
Highlights: The gardens and home cooking are every bit as good as all the other reviews attest! We also enjoyed the jungle trek.
Challenges:
It's hard to criticize a place when the cost is so low. But worth noting a couple of points; A/ this place is very remote! Best if you have your own transportation (bike). Grab is about 200k to the Munduk waterfall trek each way... if you can get one.
B/ it's in the mountains, so there's rain! C/. There's nowhere comfortable to sit. There are wooden benches (without good back support) in the A-frames and in the garden area. These are OK for short periods, but not for a relaxing afternoon ... ir days when it's raining. D). The Aframes are lit by two 6w lightbulbs (40w incandescent equivalent). One upstairs, one downstairs. Made the
Accommodations very dark inside when it rained... not good for relaxing.
I made these recommendations to the owners, and hopefully as the resort develops these can be addressed - and the property can live up to its potential.
