"I had a great stay at the St David's Hotel, which is incredibly convenient and within easy walking distance of Paddington Station. As a solo traveler who frequently needs a 1-2 night base for short trips or an early flight via the Heathrow Express, the location simply cannot be beaten. The highlight of the stay was definitely the team. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my visit, from the reception team to the cleaning staff. While there was a slight struggle to find my reservation initially, they handled it well and got it resolved quickly. My room was quirky and the bed was very comfortable. To keep this review completely honest for future travelers, there are a couple of things to note. Being on the ground floor, you can hear the rumble of the Underground trains from 5:00 AM until past midnight. There is also no air conditioning; this wasn't an issue for my stay, but it might be worth keeping in mind if you are booking during mid-summer. Neither of these points ruined my trip, and I would happily stay here again. Just be mindful of the weather when you book!"
