It was also very hard to locate the property, and the instructions provided were not clear enough to find the place easily. Another major issue was the language barrier. "Housekeeping was great about cleaning the rooms but they were outdated, we had no hot water 4 of the 10 days we were there. The pool was almost never cleaned ans we had alot of mosquitoes due to that. We upgraded from a standard room to the nicer pool and other than access to the pool temp jacuzzi and cabanas it was not worth it. The cheaper room was better maintained and regulated... the only thing that made our stay worth it was the outings we booked with their travel group and the fact it wasnt covered with seaweed grass like the rest of the country. We did have to Uber to and from the airport as they also dont offer the service"

"Overall, I had a good experience. This is a great hotel for a short stay when arriving in or leaving Santo Domingo, especially because it’s conveniently located near the airport. The food is very good and reasonably priced, and the breakfast offers several choices. The staff may be limited, but everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful, and willing to assist. The hotel also has two pools, including a very large main pool. My biggest concern is the size of the rooms and especially the bathrooms. There is very little space around the beds, and it’s easy to bump your legs on the corners. The bathrooms are extremely tight, and the position of the door makes entering, exiting, and even using the toilet uncomfortable. Some A/C units could also use improvement. Another issue is the entrance from Las Américas Highway. The hotel needs a larger, more visible sign before the entrance so drivers have enough time to slow down. It’s very easy to miss the entrance, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the area. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for one or two nights, particularly when arriving in the country or before heading to the airport. With a few improvements, it could be even better."

"For the amount I rented it was a very good deal. All the common area property is very well cared for. The apartment itself could use some minor repairs like door knobs. But it wasn't a big deal, the air conditioners worked excellent. The kitchen was fully stacked with everything we needed and more. The cleaning could have been a little better since the floor felt a bit sandy, perhaps with a vacuum, and found a cockroach in the main bathroom. But that can happen anywhere. The beach are is great for parents seeking to relax while kids play in the sand. We also enjoyed a great deal in the pool."
