「Be cautious of the images related to this posting. When we arrived, we couldn't tell if we were at the appropriate location as the images of the property are from 9 years ago and those 9 years have not been kind to this place. The outdoor seating area, that we paid extra to have, was unusable as furniture was old and the cushions were covered with what appeared to be old bed sheets. There is also an image of two people at a large window, drinking a glass of wine, while overlooking a typical...
「The beach is just steps away! Restaurants, pubs, etc were all within walking distance, as was the promenade. Beautiful walk among the trees right across the street. Perfect spot in the “quiet” part of Follonica.」
「The place is a very organized camping ground. With that being said, it’s not close to anything, it’s like a 25-30 min walk to the marina and downtown restaurants. They have access to to the beach and a small store that is necessary if you bring nothing. There’s a restaurant but we did not try it, navigating the grounds is confusing and there’s no views of the sea just camping tents, RVs or little cottages among the trees. Walk to the beach is a hike.. We stayed at one of the cottages and it had...
「The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic with everything you could want. The room was spacious, had a nice balcony, the shower was excellent, the AC worked great and the bed was comfortable. The beach is a one minute walk along with several nice restaurants. We have been in France and Italy for four weeks and this is the nicest hotel we have stayed in.」
「Very relaxing spa hotel. If you use all the spa facilities, they are really quite good. But lack of staff assistance and info meant I didn't even discover some of the excellence until leaving. I even enjoyed the foot spa, only once, 4 pools red hot, blue cold. very bland when the taps are not adding jacuzzi effect and the taps only come on at random times. We did not realise the spa shower had interesting features (like warm trickle). I had a Massage from Gaia.... It was 5*...cannot fault! but...
