"The location is excellent and the breakfast very good but during our stay, we stored cash and jewelry in the room safe. We had accessed the safe several times previously without any issues using our personal code. On the evening before our departure, while packing and retrieving our belongings, the safe would not open using the code we had set. A hotel employee was called to assist and was able to open the safe without difficulty. At the time, we verified that our jewelry and other valuables appeared to be present and continued preparing for our departure without thinking of checking the bills inside the envelopes, completely trusting our money was there. Only later, the following morning at the airport after reviewing our cash, did we discover that €300 was missing from the envelopes stored in the safe. Specifically, the missing amount consisted of one €200 bill and two €50 bills. We are not making accusations against any individual. However, we are concerned by the combination of the safe no longer responding to our code and the subsequent discovery of the missing cash. For context, we requested room servicing only once during our stay, on the day before departure, which was the only occasion on which hotel staff entered the room. We would appreciate it if the hotel could review whether there are any records relating to the safe, including maintenance, resets, override access, etc."

"It is in a great location and we dealt with a very helpful staff member named Toni who helped us find a lost passport but I still feel I should rate the stay very low because the AC was not working in our room and I alerted the staff to this issue every day for the 5 day stay and nothing was ever done about it. I spoke with other quests and many had the same issue with no effort made by the hotel to fix it that I'm aware of. The room was 26 degrees Celsius and sometimes higher. Was a very bad experience."

"This was a very nice hotel with awesome A/C in a convenient part of town. Note that there is no parking here (all street), so get to know the area and where to park beforehand. The breakfast was very good (busy!) and overall it was a fast-paced vibe. There isn't a full restaurant, and the bar is pretty expensive, and when we asked for more toilet paper (we didn't need our room made up each day), the people at the front desk were nice about it, but while the third person went to get the TP, the other two looked like they were gossiping about us in German while they looked at us. I could have read it wrong, but it was uncomfortable. Either way, I would still recommend this hotel. It's in a great location and has the minimum essentials."

"So many good things to recommend about this hip hotel. Problems, however, to note: A/C struggles to keep up with serious summer heat. Plan accordingly. Free coffee service was down for four of my six days there. Bubbly water was down for three days. Noise from the street is only a problem when sirens blare. Now the good: all new, clean, functional. Room/bath have all you need. Windows open in case you need some fresh air. Curtains are blackout, very useful. Beds comfortable and new. Staff was exceptional, kind, helpful, and ready to answer any questions. Location is perfect: ten minutes walk from Hbf. Good coffee shops nearby, good restaurants nearby. Recommended."

"This hotel is OK if you are staying for 1 or 2 nights and are happy to live out of your suitcase. However there are a number of issues if you are staying for a longer period. 1. Storage space - There are no drawers in the rooms, to put things like underwear or small clothing items. In the double room there was only one bedside cabinet which meant all my bedside items (book, phone etc) had to go on the floor 2. Bathroom - There wasn't one. The handbasin was in the passage between the door of the room and the bedroom section. There was a shower compartment which opened onto the bedroom with a curtain to hide you when you were showering. My wife loves me very much but did not particularly want to see me washing my "bits". 3. If you are female there is nowhere to put make up or any other things that a lady needs to make herself presentable on leaving the room. 4. Breakfast was nice but because the hotel appears to cater especially for tour groups it is difficult to get a table at times. 5. Hotel bar - There is no bar service,you have to wait for a waiter to take your order and bring it. On one occasion this resulted in a 15 minute wait before ordering and then a 30 minute wait for the drinks to arrive. 6. Room cleaning - They have an unnecessary technological system where you press a button the wall to request room cleaning the next day. We did this - the room was not cleaned. I am not sure how this is more efficient than hanging a note on your door requesting the room be cleaned"
