「Very clean, good breakfast, and very enthusiastic staff.」

「Needed extra blanket and was told they don’t have extra blankets. We reserved the room with two beds and pullout couch and had no bedding for pullout couch. Breakfast wasn’t great. Eggs were watery and sausage links undercooked.」

「Room was not clean. There was toothpaste smeared in the bathroom and a sticky spill on the bedside table. The other issue with the room is when all the lights are off, the blinking smoke detector light is extremely bright… like a small strobe light in the room making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise the room would have been great being new and up to date. We loved the gym area, the lobby and the free snacks from 530-7. We did order the kitchen bar food late one night for dinner and would not...

「The rooms need a few rugs to keep you when you are in your barefeet. Also maybe put some grab bars and anti slip mats in the shower 」

「We booked a room with one king bed. We were given a room with 2 queen beds, when I told the desk person he had to call the manager stating there were none available. Then we were given a room with one king bed that looked like some had used the bed and just made the top to look good. There were dirty linen carts in the hallway when we arrived and were still in the same spot when we checked out. The breakfast had cereal, but only chocolate milk; the fruit tasted slightly rancid; the two bite...

「Upon arriving we found there was a loud intermittent noise adjacent to the room. We talked to staff and they offered a second floor room so we moved upstairs. This room had no cold water in the lavatory and the stool did not fill after flushing and the TV did not work. We again contacted the front desk and we were moved to a third room that functioned. The whole place appears to need some updating. Staff were pleasant but difficult to understand.」

「Overall it was decent but Marriott’s used to be top of the line. This one was run down and the breakfast area was not kept clean and food options was not refreshed … for the price we expected a little better but overall it was good 」

「Excellent place to stay in the downtown /haymarket area. Parking was no issue as we used the adjacent parking structure. It was safe to walk around the Haymarket at night and excellent restaurants were a block away. The room was comfortable. We would stay again」
