Pros:
-Seemed clean
-80% of staff encountered were exceptional and friendly
-the area is walkable and lovely, lots of art and good restaurants all easy to access
-lots of community events
-accessible room had a shower bench
-quite roomy
-comfortable bed
-pillow options (hard/soft)
-given a page with hotel info
-fresh fruit in lobby
-free parking in nearby garage
-did not take advantage if free breakfast but it looked good
Cons:
-strong odor in room initially- maybe from cleaning products. It did wear off a day later.
-carpets are due for an update.
-because room was accessible there was no place to set something down in the bathroom
-cleaning team parked two cleaning carts in hallway outside our handicapped accessible room for 45 minutes, and were nowhere to be found. We had much difficulty extracting our luggage and wheelchair from the room. When mentioned to man at front desk as an ADA awareness opportunity, his response was not very nice— indicated we should knock on room doors to find the cleaning staff and ask them to remove it. What? I mean yes, if they were visible, but they were not, and knocking on random doors seems rude.
