Really a college town. Lots of brew pubs and burger joints, but limited options beyond that. The Lincoln airport is small and has limited flight options. The alternative is to fly into Omaha and drive a little more than a hour to Lincoln.

Lincoln is a city with many options but wasn't overly traffic-y. Everyone I met was very nice and welcoming, from the hotel to restaurants to police/ fireman at an event to college students... Everyone was great.

There are unlimited places to shop and dine, which we enjoyed. We are from a small town so we don't have many options. Scheel's was a really nice store, with giant indoor fish tanks. Pretty easy to get around, even though it was a large city.

"Super nice room, but even better attentive staff and fabulous lounge/bar/bistro food area. Price was right even adding parking and breakfast. Room had safe, microwave, coffee maker, good shower, comfy bed, and fridge but sadly no freezer. Would alter our schedule to stay here again. "
"Cute little condo style hotel. Theming around the outside areas were cute. The breakfast was delicious, the free ice cream and slushies 24/7 was a big hit! The pool did not feel heated and seemed low on water. The bathroom was huge and spacious but would’ve been nice to have double sinks/mirros with how much space there was but no complaint there just a suggestion. Was very nice having a washer and dryer to dry our pool towels. The pillows should be replaced, very flat. We enjoyed our mini vacation there!"

"Located in downtown so I felt safe for an overnight stay just passing through town on a road trip. The receptionist had issues with the credit card at first, he called for help which took a while. It was inconvenient for me after driving 10+ hours and checking in at 10:30pm, all I want is to shower and sleep. Parking garage in gated so it felt safe. Complimentary breakfast was decent. "
