"Comfortable large double room, clean and fresh smelling. The on-suite was large and well set out. Only negative was a shower that barely sprayed, no pressure and the temperature fluctuated. Bed was very comfortable and the quilt heavy. Food was standard pub fare well cooked and delicious. The staff were were good, welcoming and helpful. Car parking was easy and secure. Will stay again if available."

"The whole stay was lovely. The room was great. Clean and very comfortable bed!! Staff were helpful. Love the free mini bar ! Such a nice touch Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked . "I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The room had a very strong, unpleasant smell and the bedding felt stale and musty. I had to keep the window open all day and night just to make the room bearable, which was far from ideal on a cold and wet February weekend. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The walls were visibly dirty, the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, the mats appeared unwashed, and the floors were stained. On top of that, there was no proper hot water for showers — we only had lukewarm to cold water throughout our stay. The small kitchen area was also a shared space, which was not clearly communicated. There was no privacy, and we did not feel comfortable using it. Overall, the condition and facilities fell well below acceptable standards. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to hygiene, maintenance, and guest communication."

"Great treehouse with buggy. Up early to go around the park with the buggy. Loved the clubhouse bar, toasting marshmallows over the fire. We would return, loved the animals, grounds & restaurants too! "
