「This was our second stay at Fowlescombe Farm and it only reinforced our view that it is one of the most special places to stay in the UK. This time we stayed in the Pond Suite, which was every bit as beautifully designed and comfortable as our previous accommodation, with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Being one of just three rooms within the Farmhouse, we particularly enjoyed having direct access to the spacious, well-equipped kitchen and the cosy lounge areas...

「The room was quite well proportioned and despite being over the public bar was not noisy. Was close to the bus stop which saved us driving into Brighton and trying to find a park. Meals were good and breakfast very generous. Overall good value for money」

「We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」

「Perfect location by the beach and centre of town. The room was big enough for us and the beds were comfy. The hotel is a bit dated, however it was clean and had a nice lounge area with live entertainment each night which we enjoyed.」

「Went for wedding, was astonished at the route from hotel foyer to venue, especially with so many people attending. Found dining room food uninspired and breakfast cool even early.」

「Firstly, £15 a day for the privilege of parking at the hotel and it’s on a first come first serve basis, is more the norm now bits it’s appalling, if you go out your not guaranteed your spot once returned. Tv didn’t work until I asked twice for it to be sorted and the fridge didn’t work and didn’t get sorted. However, it’s a lovely new/clean and well designed hotel. Comfy bed, lovely on suite and a great location for Paignton and close by Torquay. Overall we would go again!」

「We had two rooms and both were very Dirty room. No hot or warm water shower working. On asking staff they ignored me. 」

「Breakfast was OK.Just no choice of eggs.Either scrambled or nothing.Would have liked poached or fried.Also no evening meals available but Spinning Wheel did good reasonably priced food.」
