「We liked the private hot tub, especially since the weather was too cold to swim. The room had a kitchenette, which we appreciated since there's no room service and it was 20 minute walk to town. A car is definitely needed for Sao Miguel. The room was cleaned very well, but people aren't very careful and we could see stains on the sofa even though the hotel is relatively new. There was a somewhat small smart TV in the room, but it worked well. Breakfast was basic but included with the reservation...

「Location close to the city with great views of the ocean. Good bedding. Fruits, water, milk and crackers were appreciated. The property is in need of better maintenance though - there is mold in the bathrooms, poorly cleaned windows which ruin the view, linens and towers had sports on them, the whole apartment has a damp smell to it. With all of that, not worth the price we paid.」

「I’m just going to state the facts here. When we first arrived, the electronic keypad did not work. We had to communicate with the property manager. They were able to get housekeeping to come out and assist. They gave us the code to the system and it did not work. We were able to access the lockbox key and use it to get in. When we got in the housekeeper, showed that the door jam had been mangled from a previous visit and was probably the reason the electronic key did not work. When we gathered...

「Amazing accommodation. D’Autor village is a beautiful property composed of several small villas, with a great pool that overlooks the valley. Please is spotless, with great hospitality and very nice staff that is always there to help and answer any questions you may have. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Property is located in the Vinho verde region so expect some travelling if you’d like to visit the Douro valley.」
