The property location and staff were great. My only concern was that they issued room keys to someone not authorized on my room. They meant well, but could have been a dangerous situation.

We loved everything about this Aloft hotel. The hotel was in a perfect location that made every one of our planned and unplanned destinations easily walkable.

Such a playful feel to the well designed room with its patterns, colors, lights and textures! Plenty of outlets appreciated. The walk-in shower was a delight...solid, perfect grip on its "floor"; quality shower head with pleasant flow of water and range from hot to cold water. Appealing sound from water metal drain. Sense of privacy and space inside with its door treatment. Bathroom layout worked.Excellent water pressure. King sized bed mattress was very comfortable. Pillows were excellent in head support. Best hot coffee found in hotel room!

Fun decor, wonderful staff, great gym and and terrific location just a short distance to wonderful restaurants (12 minute walk to Fore Street), 10 Minute walk to the State Theater.

The hotel is right near the commercial area for small shops and restaurants. The room had a water view, and was clean and simple. Parking is by valet, but was quick and easy. The hotel is geared more toward a younger clientele.

The hotel was nice and clean. Although they ran out of soap so you had to use shampoo to wash your hands. The bathroom in the room we rented was nice but the sliding pocket door left little privacy as everyone in the room can hear everything. $35 a day for parking seems steep to me as a hotel customer. They also double charged me for the security deposit and refused to refund me for the accidental extra charge.

Having stayed in my share of disappointing establishments the Aloft is an excellent example of how to provide a premium guest experience and facilities. The hotel is modern and very clean, the staff is engaged and friendly, and the hotel bar is great! Parking was a breeze with valet parking. It cost a bit more, perhaps, but well worth the convenience. The location is convenient to the waterfront and Old Port and many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is clean and has some nice amenities. The staff are nice and friendly .We enjoyed the pool table and fun games in the lobby. The bar was good as well…a little expensive but what do you expect at a hotel bar? We just ended up walking to the bars down the street. One of the two negatives I had was the noise! The walls are thin and you can hear everything. We could hear people walking around not only in the halls but in the rooms above us. Not something I’m used to at a hotel. Also they were doing some kind of remodeling and there were workers all over the place replacing trim or painting and there were tools and material’s everywhere.

Staff was so friendly, professional and helpful! Hotel was very clean and trendy. The downstairs bar and restaurant was so convenient and delicious, the game section by the bar was a plus and our group had a blast. Will definitely book there again next we’re in Portland.
