"We booked a superior double room for our stay in Quebec City. I’ll state the positive features first. The location was excellent as it was close to the train station and old town. Restaurants and bars were nearby, but far enough away to not be bothered by the noise. Communication with the staff was also excellent as they responded quickly to my texts and also checked in everyday via texts to let us know they’re there if we needed anything. The room was quiet. The windows did a good job of blocking out the street noise. Next are the things to be aware of: 1) If you’re looking for a more traditional hotel where there is someone physically at the property to ask for assistance, this is not the place for you. There are no room keys, just codes. Entry into the building and room are done with your mobile phone. 2) There is no elevator. Fortunately, we were on the second floor, so we only had to haul our luggage up a few flights of stairs. 3) I thought there would be a washer/dryer to use during our stay, but apparently that’s only available in the larger units. 4) There was nowhere to hang our clothes. No hangers and no closet with a rod, just shelves."

Lots of dirty fingerprints, smudges, and smears on walls. Coffee machine and wine machines were great. Terrace was lovely. Close to everything! Easy to roll in suitcases at the back door."
