「Our stay at this bed and breakfast was fantastic! The festive Christmas atmosphere made everything feel cozy and magical. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. I would definitely stay here again! 」

「I didn’t know what to expect since there were no decent photos of the rooms, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable enough although pillows were quite lumpy. We were placed in a room with a connecting door which ended up being quite loud - we could hear our neighbours when they were speaking in a normal conversation volume. Staff were friendly. 」

「The grounds and the winery here at Hessenland are beautiful. We loved being able to walk around and explore the gardens and lovely seating areas. The outdoor pool was a refreshing treat during this heat wave. The food and drink was fabulous and the staff wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We found the inn itself dated and tired looking. The rooms and sitting areas could use with an update and refresh like the rest of the property has had. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay.」

「Shower doors weren't cleaned completely but the rest of the premises are fantastic! Great location. The host was more than accommodating and prompt and they were thoughtful enough to leave 2 robes for our comfort, which was greatly appreciated. My only suggestion: I get that it's winter and I'm a Canadian, but re: the hot tub is to maybe install a wall of some kind/wrap the 3 sides in winter to block the wind. I still enjoyed it in the blizzard! I also noticed that there wasn't a spare blanket...
