「Our one night stay at Château Picol was our first experience in a French Château. Our hosts served delicious food, which included local produce. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 」

「Lovely hotel in an old country mansion. Beautiful grounds. Very helpful staff able to assist in booking tours. Quiet location 15 min walk into town and slightly closer to train station. Our room was small, but nice. Comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant was really delicious. 」

「What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain.」

「Tout était parfait, l’accueil la chambre, la salle de bain nickel. J’aurais apprécié des œufs brouillés au petit déjeuner plutôt que des œufs durs, froids. Le jambon dans la boîte Tupperware, pas très pratique à se servir et quelques fourchettes à disposition aurait été appréciées 」

「Hôtes très accueillants et aux petits soins pour nous. Sans être trop sur nous. Un havre de paix, beau jardin avec des jeux pour enfants. Très bon petit déjeuner préparés par nos hôtes pris dehors sur terrasse ombragée. Place de parking à côté. 」
