But this is a very basic accommodation, and the bathroom was in need of some repair. The owner and family were very helpful and accommodating, and in general the people in this area are very nice. This is a great location for views of Mt Kinabalu, and for local hikes, and also for visiting the Desa Dairy Farm."

"I've booked 2 days in crystal hill hotel. The first day the TV is not working the hotel towel is not clean as well. There were bugs and some insects in our room and the glasses they provide also not clean. "Perfect stay in Mt Kinabalu. The house we stayed is cosy and very convenient for visiting the Mt Kinabalu Park as it’s situated inside the park. There is heater in the house which makes is super great in the rainy cold days in the mountain. Facilities are great. There is movie channel for visitors to enjoy !"

"I have booked a Junior Suite room. But upon check-in, the staff told me that there would be no TV channel in my room. Later I realised that the room opposite (which is a smaller type of room) had the TV on inside the room! My room was very big and spacious. It was supposed to be the mountain view but all I could see was only the tip of the mountain as there is a huge and tall fences infront of the room! "The view is superb. Very direct magnificent view of Mount Kinabalu. But the aceess into the resort (2km) is not proper tar road. The room is basic with all the necessary amenities and clean. Comfortable stay. The staff is friendly & helpful. They are very oblige to all your needs /request. Thank you."
