"We stayed here for one night while exploring the local area. Overall the experience was good, the room was comfortable and the location is convenient. But this is a very basic accommodation, and the bathroom was in need of some repair. The owner and family were very helpful and accommodating, and in general the people in this area are very nice. This is a great location for views of Mt Kinabalu, and for local hikes, and also for visiting the Desa Dairy Farm."

"I've booked 2 days in crystal hill hotel. The first day the TV is not working the hotel towel is not clean as well. There were bugs and some insects in our room and the glasses they provide also not clean. "Exceeded our expectations. The entire experience was undoubtedly much better than all our previous experiences in similar properties throughout West Malaysia. The villa was spacious, well-maintained, and clean. Service levels were excellent - people were friendly, helpful, and prompt. The breakfast provided, while basic, was however enjoyable and adequate. The only gripes we had: 1. This place was at a relatively lower altitude, and therefore temperatures were not as cool as we were originally hoping for in the mountains. 2. No curtains in the bedrooms - we were forced to awake with the sunrise. Overall an enjoyable experience for the entire family, and all of us liked it."
