"We stayed here for one night while exploring the local area. Overall the experience was good, the room was comfortable and the location is convenient. But this is a very basic accommodation, and the bathroom was in need of some repair. The owner and family were very helpful and accommodating, and in general the people in this area are very nice. This is a great location for views of Mt Kinabalu, and for local hikes, and also for visiting the Desa Dairy Farm."

"I've booked 2 days in crystal hill hotel. The first day the TV is not working the hotel towel is not clean as well. There were bugs and some insects in our room and the glasses they provide also not clean. "I have booked a Junior Suite room. But upon check-in, the staff told me that there would be no TV channel in my room. Later I realised that the room opposite (which is a smaller type of room) had the TV on inside the room! My room was very big and spacious. They could improve on the water system. The unit we stayed has no hot water and the pressure was very low. I was freezing cold after a cold shower.
