"Great hotel overall. Very close to the coastal trail with access to the beach, rental equipment, and the little train to town. The trip from the bedroom to the restaurant or the pool is a bit cumbersome, as the elevator only goes to the reception area, and you have to walk down the length of the lobby and down the stairs to go to them. "It was a lovely property with beautiful views. I wish we would have had time to explore more of the area and the hotel amenities. I took off one star because we were not able to control the thermostat in our own room, which is important to me. We were told it was centrally controlled. It was very stuffy in the room but when we opened the door to the balcony to get air, any fan movement in the room stopped. Please consider letting guests control their room temperatures, especially when the weather is at least 10 degrees warmer than expected."
