Excellent Hotel in a beautiful location

Weather was excellent throughout the duration of our stay, the hotel itself is in an excellent location & the facilities are fantastic. Our kids loved using the indoor pool due to the outdoor pool being out of season but it didn’t dampen their spirits. Kids club was great fun for the kids & having the media room was a godsend as it kept the kids quiet for a few hours whilst we were over in the main hotel making use of the facilities & bar. Apartments were a great size for us & there was no worrying about being cramped inside as it was very spacious. Staff were always very friendly & happy to help irrespective of what it was you were asking them. I’d happily stay there again in the future without hesitation.

Alles war super bis auf das Apartment. Vermutlich weil die einfach auch alle schon alt sind. Ein Minus punkt wegen der Klimaanlage. Ja es gab eine aber nur im Wohnzimmer. Im Schlafzimmer war es soo warm dass wir dann offen gelassen haben. Das fand ich dann schade. Spülmaschine konnten wir nicht nutzen da die sicherung raus ging. Wir haben es dann einfacj gelassen. Die Anlage selber ist super!! Einfach toll für die Familie. Und die Leute sind alle sehr freundlich!!

We stayed at the residence and although our room could use a little refresh, it was a nice stay for my family and I. Front desk staff was lovely and even gave us a free buffet breakfast for our whole family. Pool and beach area were awesome and we had a great one night stay!

Mye bra aktiviter for familien på området. Resepsjon på hotellet er bra. Første leiligheten vi fikk var skitten og hadde veggdyr. Andre leiligheten vsr renere, men veldig slitt. Klumpete puter, og veldig harde senger. Mange solsenger med bassengene. Mange kjekke aktiviteter ved stranden.

3 étoiles en 1980....

Appartement resté dans son jus des années 1980. La porte principale était défoncée et tenait difficilement avec une vis. Du simple vitrage d époque avec des persiennes qui nous obligent à rester dans le noir. Le logement ne nous a pas laissé une grande satisfaction pour du 3 étoiles. Heureusement que le complexe et l emplacement rehausse quelque peu la note.

Wir haben ein Appartement mit zwei Schlafzimmern genutzt, das zum Valamar Diamant Hotel gehört. Leider ist die oberhalb des Hotels gelegene Appartement-Anlage doch schon ziemlich verbraucht, was man auch den Wohnungen anmerkt. Türen klemmen, Schränke müffeln, Fenster klappern. Die Türen unserer Duschkabine waren locker und der Duschkopf ließ sich nicht fixieren. Die Fliesen im Apartment waren an mehreren Stellen angeschlagen. Das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Housekeeping gibt sich Mühe, kann aber gegen marode und hellhörige Bausubstanz nichts tun. Dazu kommt der Weg zum Meer. Wir waren im hintersten Teil der sehr weitläufigen Anlage mit drei Hotels, so dass wir gut 850 Meter zum Strand laufen mussten. Drei Liegen und ein Schirm am Strand kosten pro Tag 27 Euro. Inwiefern das Hotel darauf Einfluss hat, wissen wir nicht. Der Pool liegt näher und dort sind die Liegen gratis. Die Hotelbereiche, die alle Gäste nutzen können, sehen im Gegensatz zu den Appartements neu aus und sind sehr schön. Der Fitnessraum ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Geärgert hat uns die Forderung einer extra Parkgebühr beim Auschecken, von der zuvor keine Rede war.

Our apartment was perfectly fine, grounds were beautiful, and buffet was fantastic. Both check-in and check-out were terrible with long lines, and upon late evening check-in with tired kids we had to return three times because of poor directions to the apartment.

Das Appartment ist eher klein und abgewohnt. Das Areal, der Kinderclub und vieles mehr auf dem Gelände machen diese Unterkunft dann doch interessant im Preis/Leistungverhältnis. Wir waren außerhalb der Saison und es war relativ ruhig. Das Appartment mit einem Schlafzimmer hatte soweit alles, ausser einen Backofen. Handtücher wurden auf Wunsch täglich gewechselt. Es gibt einen schönen Aussen Pool und einen Innen-Pool, auf dem Gelände sind 3 Hotels und die Residence Ferienhäuser untergebracht. Viel Natur, im Sommer noch mehr sportliche Aktivitäten wie Kletterpark und Wassersport. In Oktober waren einige mit Hunden spazieren, eine offene Bar direkt am Meer, sonst war vieles zu. Der Kinderclub war bis 21 Uhr geöffnet. Es gibt einen Kletterraum, einen Bastelraum und einen Playstationraum. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, manche sprechen auch deutsch.

Die Residence darf in dem Zustand, in dem wir das Appartment übernommen haben, eigentlich gar nicht mehr angeboten werden. Die 5 gravierendsten Mängel: 1. Es regnet durch das Dach. 2. Im Bad schimmelt es. Die Entlüftung ist defekt. 3. Die Holzlamellen an den Türen sind nicht wegzuklappen. In Verbindung mit einfachsten Fusellicht im App. ist es dadurch immer sehr dunkel. 4. Putz fällt von der Wand, Bodenfliesen sind abgeschlagen. 5. Die Einfachverglasung der Fenster und einfache Rigipsplatten sorgen auch nachts für beste Unterhaltung von Nachbarn. Insgesamt ist diese Anlage sehr veraltet und in einem durchwegs sanierungsbedürftigen Zustand. Es fehlt überall an Farbe,in den Blumenkästen wächst Unkraut. Selbst die rührende und sehr freundliche Putzfrau, die alles gegeben hat, kann die substantiellen Mängel im App. (Schimmel im Bad, mind. 2 Kakerlaken in der Küche) in den wenigen Minuten, die sie Zeit pro Wohneinheit hat, nicht vollständig beseitigen. Aufgefallen ist uns auch, dass 1 Person, die für den Müll zuständig ist, den mühsam durch die App.bewohner getrennten Müll beim Einsammeln wieder zusammengekippt hat. Das ist sehr ärgerlich, da sich Valamar das Thema Nachhaltigkeit besonders auf die Fahnen geschrieben hat. Diese Themen oben sind der Grund, weshalb wir die Residence unter keinen Umständen empfehlen können. Positiv sind die Mitbenutzung der Anlage Valamar Diamant HOTEL (wirklich sehr gut!). Im Appartment konnten wir im Bett ganz gut schlafen (weich, aber bequem).

Apartments are part of hotel. facilities very good and there looks to be an excellent kids club. walking distance to Porec or use the land train for a variety of restaurants and bars to suit everyone. we found all the staff, from reception to cleaning and maintenance, are very friendly and professional and happy to help On the down side, while the apartments are very clean and acceptable inside, the fabric of the buildings is very poor and needs a complete overhall. Our apartment B6 had rotten wood on the bottom of the door which was turning into a hole - not good! All in all an enjoyable break
